How do I find out how many hours I have earned?
Due to the large number of members, our chapter asks that you do your best to maintain your own records of attendance at our events to keep a general idea of how many hours you have earned to date. In order to help you achieve this effectively, you can print out a copy of the “Attendance Monitoring Form” and keep track each semester. Our Reporter will send out updates 2-3 times per semester with each member/pledge’s official hours.
08
How do I become more involved in BAP or potentially become an officer?
At the end of the fall semester, the Executive Board will ask interested students to attend an officer interest meeting. Once each student decides which position they are interested in pursuing, they should send in applications. Current officers will review applications. Based on the applications, the Executive Board will decide who the best fit for each position is. If more than one person is qualified for the same position, elections will be held in early spring semester to elect the upcoming officers for the following fall semester. The upcoming officers are highly encouraged to attend the spring regional BAP conference in order to begin transitioning into their roles for the following year.
